Design Preparation

RGB vs. CMYK

When producing your sticker in Photoshop, Procreate, or Illustrator make sure to work in CMYK mode. The color accuracy will improve and print to your expectations.

In Photoshop:

  1. Upload file in Photoshop
  2. Go to Image → Mode → CMYK

In Illustrator:

  1. Upload file in Illustrator
  2. Go to File → Document color mode → CMYK

Creating Cutlines

There are several different paths to creating your cutline. Before beginning, make sure you like the size of your design.

  1. Make sure your design is vectorized
  2. Go to Pathfinder → Merge → Unite
  3. Add spot colors 0,100,0,0 (CMYK) and name it "die cut"
  4. You're all set!
